Your private guide in the Botanical Garden of Gothenburg
During 1.5 – 2 hours you will get an overview of the Botanical Garden’s varied facilities and enjoy the experiences at a comfortable pace, adapted to the group and according to the season.
A guided tour in the Botanical Garden is an experience of a lifetime!
I share beauty experiences and personal favorites among all the beautiful and exciting things from both the cultivated and wild nature in the Botanical Garden. I talk about the Botanical Garden’s unique plant collections and their work to preserve biodiversity, history and future. Depending on the group size, there is room for questions, conversations and in-depth discussions.
I meet the group in the entrance or by appointment. A complete tour contains the most interesting facilities in the Botanical Garden and takes about two hours. Depending on the season, weather and the group’s wishes, the tour may be different.
Is the group particularly interested in garden design and horticulture?
There is an incredible amount of inspiration and knowledge to take home to your own garden by studying different types of facilities in more detail. Ask me! If you want the tour to be more nature-inspired, we can include a refreshing walk over Håberget with a view of the city of Gothenburg, or why not stretch your legs with a trip to the Arboretum and perhaps even up to Ljungheden in Änggårdsbergen Nature Reserve? Let us know your wishes and areas of interest, and I will adapt the plan accordingly. Walking-friendly and stable shoes are recommended.
Prices 2026
A guided tour of approximately 2 hours costs 4800 SEK excluding VAT. The tour can be done in 1 – 1.5 hours, but the price is the same. Admission to Botaniska is an additional 30 SEK per person, which I will add to your invoice and forward in full to Botaniska. This is according to Botaniska’s rules for private guided tours in the garden.
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to three days before the tour day. Later cancellations will be charged half the cost. Cancellation on the same day will be charged the full cost. In the event of cancellation, no entrance fee will be charged, only the guide fee.
Invoicing
Payment is made against invoice 30 days, or directly in Swedish crowns (cash). Invoicing details and your reference must be communicated to me at the time of booking. I can send a paper invoice or digitally via email.
Group size
Around 20 people in a group is usually a good balance. If the group is significantly larger, I can make a special arrangement based on your wishes and time requirements. Smaller groups or a completely private guided tour are of course also fine and are particularly suitable for those who are interested in plant selection, composition and care. Then we have time to stop a little longer at different places and talk in more detail.

My private garden is just about 15 minutes by car from Botaniska. Here the group gets a unique and peaceful experience, which complements the visit to Botaniska. It is also possible to have lunch or refreshments in my garden. Contact me to get suggestions for a plan that suits you.
